Prevention and Intervention Point Person

Is your child having problems academically, behaviorally, socially, or emotionally?  Or is your child in need of tutorial services or mentoring?   You have come to the right place for interventions, preventions, and support services.  My name is Mr. Derrek Reese and I am the social worker here at Rich East High School.  I will be your contact person who will point you in the right direction to take advantage of the prevention, intervention, and support services at Rich East High School.  I can be reached via email at dreese@rich227.org and by telephone at (708) 679-6160.

Prevention services include AIM (academic intervention monitoring), Freshmen Focus/Mentoring, Student Orientation/Motivation and Intervention programs include Anger Management, RESPONSE( Rich East Support Personel Offering Needed Student Evaluation), and REACH( Rich East Adolescent Crisis Help)
